We recently had the opportunity to attend a Made-in-Manitoba B2B event held at the Victoria Inn. It was an experience that left us both inspired and energized. The room was filled with local entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners who are deeply committed to building and sustaining businesses right here at home. Being in a space centred on collaboration and shared growth reinforced the importance of supporting one another within Manitoba’s business community.
One of the highlights of the day was hearing from Wab Kinew, whose presence added a strong sense of purpose to the event. His message emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses, collaboration across industries, and believing in the value of what is created in Manitoba. It was encouraging to hear leadership speak directly to the realities and potential of small and growing businesses.
Beyond the speakers, the networking itself was incredibly meaningful. Conversations felt intentional and thoughtful, with a genuine interest in learning about each other’s work. We connected with businesses across different sectors, shared insights on growth and challenges, and left with new ideas and potential collaborations that align with our commitment to community-centered growth
